What do we do?
We understand that parenting a child with a disability has its own set of challenges. Navigating the Special Education system can be a daunting task. Many parents feel unprepared or ill-equipped to handle what can be a very stressful process, starting with developing an IEP or a 504 plan for your child.
We are child advocates and a resource for parents in central Maryland. You need a partner with experience who knows how the Special Education system works. Educational consultants are here to help you through the process. We can even provide classroom observations, so you are certain that your child gets the services that he or she is entitled to receive.
We help families of children who have:
- Emotional Disabilities
- Language Impairments
- Special Needs
- Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
- Or other health conditions
Ensuring that your child receives the education that he or she deserves is our primary focus. We want every child to reach his/her full potential.
We serve families in the following counties: Harford, Cecil, Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, Baltimore (county and city).
Founded in 2015, Beyond Limits is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide advocacy services to families of children with disabilities in Maryland to help ensure that each child gets the education he or she deserves.
We know that navigating the public school system can be overwhelming, intimidating and confusing. You need someone with experience on your side to guide you through the maze.
